Using Podcasts in the Classroom |

Podcasting has quickly become a powerful tool in sharing information in audio form. Podcasts exist on a variety of topics including sports, business, news, and even education. This module will introduce you to educationally related podcasts to use with your students and others to use for professional development. Also, it will introduce you to sources for finding additional content area podcasts.
A rubric has been included to help guide you through the collection of all the artifacts you will need to share as evidence of completing the module. Also, the rubric is an assessment tool to be used by the designated personnel in your school district to whom you will submit your completed work for CEU credit.

TECHNOLOGY OPERATIONS AND CONCEPTS. Teachers demonstrate a sound understanding of technology operations and concepts. Teachers:

To listen to podcasts, you will need a media player on a desktop/laptop computer or a personal media player such as a MP3 player or an iPod. You do not need a personal media player to play podcasts.
