iPhoto is a MacIntosh-based image organization tool. Teachers and students in most any grade can use iPhoto to enhance the study of a particular classroom topic. When students use iPhoto, it allows them to be creative with just about any image. Students live in a world of multimedia; iPhoto makes learning an exciting, multimedia experience.
As a teacher, you can provide students with the opportunity to create iPhoto projects using images. Additional benefits include promoting critical thinking skills and also enhances writing and organizational skills. Learn how to use iPhoto with students and help them to use images to demonstrate their understanding of a topic, keep track of their images, create slideshows, and produce booklets using their images.
A rubric has been included to help guide you through the collection of all the artifacts you will need to share as evidence of completing the module. Also, the rubric is an assessment tool to be used by the designated personnel in your school district to whom you will submit your completed work for CEU credit.b
