The eBistro modules and portfolio were designed for:

1. local staff developers to utilize guided training
2. educators to complete individual professional development opportunities

The Instructional Technology Division of NCDPI does not issue CEU credits for the completion of eBistro modules or portfolio entries. In order to receive the appropriate CEU credits, you should seek prior approval from your district before completing any eBistro products. While each module is designed to be the equivalent of 10 hours/1 CEU (unless otherwise noted), the discretion for the issuing of CEUs lies with the individual school district. In order to seek CEU credit, we suggest that you:

1. Seek prior approval from your LEA Staff Development Coordinator.
2. Seek prior approval from your LEA Technology Director.
3. Complete all portions of the individual module work.
4. Print evidence of completed module work.
5. Submit completed work as directed when acquired prior approval.
